2023 Taste of Hamburg-er Festival Contests
All-Star Hamburger Eating Championship
Sponsored by Red Robin
Begins at 3:30 pm at 222 State Street. Join the excitement as nationally renowned professional eaters cheer on two tag teams of wrestlers from American Xcellence Wrestling as they vie for the 2023 championship. Contestants will chow down as many Red Robin gourmet burgers as they can in 10 minutes’ time. Who will win? Will anyone beat the record of 22 burgers consumed? Who will take home the Championship Belt?
Best Burger Awards

This category is only open to participating burger stands. Vendors will compete to win awards in the following categories: Best Taste, Best Appearance, Originality, and Grand Champion. Judging begins at 11:00 am and takes place on the side of the Windsor Press building located at the corner of Peach Alley and State Street.

Decorate and take home your own wooden cow lawn ornament. For those that would like to participate in the contest, judging will begin at 4 pm. $5 per cow
All day event, or until cows are gone.
Dine & Dash Burgers and Trail Race – Blue Mountain Wildlife Inc.
Race begins with eating a burger, followed by a 1-mile run, eating another burger and running a mile back to the finish line. Registration begins at 10 am at 2nd and State Streets. Race begins at 10:30 am. Registration includes 2 burgers and a free t-shirt. Cost is $30 and is limited to the first 50 applicants. Mooing Contest

All participants should be at the WEEU Live Broadcasting Remote located at the corner of State Street and Peach Alley no later 11:45 am. Contest begins at 12 pm. No pre-registration necessary.
Professional Wrestling Trivia

Think you know alot about professional wrestling? Be sure to stop by the American Xcellence Wrestling stand on State Street to partake in the trivia competition. Kids under age 13 will compete at 2 pm, ages 13 and over will compete at 2:30 pm. Prizes will be awarded!
“You Lucky Duck” Rubber Duck Toss
Sponsored by Deitsch Eck Restaurant, Joe Jurgielewicz & Son, LTD, and Lowe’s
Purchase your rubber ducks for $5 at the hospitality tent located on State Street. At 4:15 pm, arrive at the contest area which is located at the intersection of 2nd and State Street. When directed, contestants will have 30 seconds to toss their rubber ducks aiming at a charcoal grill placed in the center of a wrestling ring. The three closest ducks to the target on the grill will be the winners. In the event of a tie for either first, second, or third place, there will be a throw off.
1st Place: ½ of cash from Duck Sales – not to exceed $500
2nd Place: Charcoal grill with charcoal
3rd Place: Hamburger flipper and a Taste of Hamburg-er charcuterie board
